Hydrocap Energy

a technology provider in the emerging
marine renewable energy sector

The European market for marine renewable energy is emerging fast, as countries strive towards the objective of 20% CO2 reduction by 2020.

While offshore wind is likely to remain the largest contributor to output among marine renewable energy sources in the medium term, wave energy is beginning to realize its potential, with an abundant and relatively predictable resource, high energy density, and fewer environment constraints (visibility, noise etc).

Hydrocap addresses the challenges of reducing the cost and ensuring safe and reliable delivery of energy with its innovative technology, the "
SEACAP” wave energy converter which allows numerous collateral industrial benefits  :

- adaptation to the time variability  of the marine resource,
- conversion into secondary energies (H2, algofuels),
- various industrial hosted applications and  service on its platform
(climate data gathering, fishing, refueling, etc).
